Monolith, a Lincoln-based advanced manufacturing company, is proud to share several recent promotions in Nebraska today. These team members have helped Monolith achieve remarkable commercial growth at our corporate HQ in Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket and at Olive Creek 1 (OC1), the world’s only commercially operational methane pyrolysis facility located in Hallam.Â
Anna Wishart
Anna Wishart, Sr. Director, Public Affairs
Anna joined Monolith almost three years ago. Prior to Monolith, she worked as Director of Partnerships at Beyond School Bells, a nonprofit that promotes statewide afterschool and summer learning for Nebraska's youth. This year, Anna is completing her final term as State Senator for District 27, representing West Lincoln, including the Haymarket, and parts of Lancaster County. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College and graduated from the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University, CSG Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development, and Harvard Kennedy School of Negotiation Legislative Project. Anna was recently promoted from Director, External Relations to Sr. Director, Public Affairs. In this role, she leads and oversees the strategy and execution of all external-facing corporate activities, including, but not limited to, community engagement, corporate communications, government relations, and philanthropy. She works at Monolith’s headquarters in Lincoln.
Lucas Mahanes
Lucas Mahanes, Manufacturing Core Technology Engineer III
Lucas has been with Monolith for more than a year. Prior to Monolith, he earned a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and spent two years in operations technology. He was previously Manufacturing Core Technology Engineer II and has been promoted to level III. In his new role, Lucas strategizes with other engineers to drive project initiatives forward to help Monolith meet its deadlines and plant performance targets at Monolith’s Olive Creek 1 facility in Hallam.Â
Sattam Sengupta
Sattam Sengupta, Sr. Mechanical Engineer
Sattam has been with Monolith for more than a year. Prior to Monolith, he earned a bachelor's in automotive engineering from the University of Mumbai, a master’s in mechanical engineering from Clemson University, and a master's in business administration from Campbellsville University. Sattam also spent over four years with Corning Inc. in North Carolina. He was previously Mechanical Engineer III and has been promoted to Sr. Mechanical Engineer. In his new role, he helps lead the implementation of our pyrolysis systems, solving operational challenges and identifying optimization opportunities at Monolith’s Olive Creek 1 facility in Hallam.Â
Isabelle Koehler
Isabelle Koehler, Process Engineer - Integration
Isabelle has been with Monolith for two years. She started her career with us as a Process Engineer Intern while pursuing her bachelor’s in chemical engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. After graduation, Isabelle was hired as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Technician and then transitioned into a Chemical Engineer at our Monolith Technical Center in Lincoln. She recently transitioned to Process Engineer – Integration. In her new role, she is responsible for helping with the implementation and validation of new processes and unit operations to drive the development of Monolith’s technology. She works at Monolith’s Olive Creek 1 facility in Hallam.
Shelby Anderson
Shelby Anderson, Project Engineer II
Shelby Anderson has been with Monolith for a little over a year. Prior to Monolith, Anderson earned a bachelor's in chemical and biomolecular engineering from North Carolina State University. She was also with Corning Inc. in North Carolina for six years. She recently transitioned from process engineer II to project engineer II. Shelby manages and executes capital projects and collaborates with internal and external engineering resources to drive improvement at Monolith’s Olive Creek 1 facility in Hallam.
