Power play: Urdahl continues hot streak, but Stars fall in Fargo

Thursday: Fargo 6, Lincoln 3.

What went wrong: Fargo jumped out to a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes of play in Fargo, North Dakota, and did not look back. The Force matched Lincoln the rest of the way, splitting goals in both the second and third periods. Aaron Huglen scored twice including an empty-net goal with 57 seconds remaining.

What went right: Zach Urdahl continued his hot streak following up his first-career hat trick with a two-goal performance. Urdahl now has six goals in his last three games played. Jack Horbach, who has scored three times against Fargo this season, cut the Stars deficit to 3-1 early in period two. Lincoln outshot Fargo 33-30 and finished 1-for-6 on the power play. Ryan Ouellette came in relief to post 18 saves on 20 Fargo shots. Aidan McCarthy was pulled in period one after allowing three goals on nine shots.
