Sunday: Lincoln 10, Texas 3.

What went right: A six-run outburst helped Lincoln take three of the four games in the series. Dashenko Ricardo blasted a solo home run to start the slug fest in the third inning. Christian Ibarra, Brandon Jacobs and Randolph Oduber all hit consecutive two-out singles before Curt Smith had a three-RBI triple. T.J. Bennett added to the onslaught with a two-run blast. Oduber added a three-run double in the sixth and Smith tacked on one final RBI in the eighth, finishing 4-for-5 at the plate. Austin Robichaux went six innings in his fourth straight quality start and Jose Jose recorded his 11th save after pitching three flawless innings. Five Saltdogs had multiple hits, led by Smith's performance.

What went wrong: Despite having a good outing, Robichaux walked in Texas' first run of the game, and allowed another run to cross the plate before giving up a home run in the fifth.

Streaks: Bennett's home run was his third in the past three games and he has now gone deep seven times in Lincoln's past 10 games at home.

Dog bytes: The Saltdogs set a season high for runs in a series with 36 and have won back-to-back series for the first time since June 8-14, when they beat Cleburne and Texas.

Next: Lincoln is off Monday before beginning a three-game series at Wichita on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
