Friday: Milwaukee 7, Lincoln 2.

What went wrong: Former big-leaguer T.J. House allowed just three hits and two runs over 7 2/3 innings, while striking out eight Saltdogs along the way in Kokomo, Indiana. Lincoln finished the game with just five hits from three players. Milwaukee gave House an early cushion by jumping to a 5-0 lead through four innings of play and never looked back. Tyson Cronin allowed six runs (four earned) over 5 2/3 innings and gave up 11 hits. 

What went right: Randolph Oduber launched a two-run homer to provide the scoring for Lincoln, and the outfielder reached base three times. Daniel Herrera followed collected two hits.

Dog bytes: Ivan Marin was hit by a pitch during the game, which extends his on-base streak to 10 games on the young season. 

What's next: The Saltdogs and Milkmen play the second game of their three-game series at noon Saturday, again in Kokomo, where the Milkmen play their home games because of delays in construction on their home field.
