Saturday: Cleburne 8, Lincoln 3

What went right: Randolph Oduber continued his excellence at the plate, picking up three hits on Saturday night to raise his batting average to .319 on the year. As a team, the Saltdogs collected 12 hits on the evening.

What went wrong: Right out of the gate, Cleburne lit up the Saltdogs for four runs in the first inning and never looked back. Although Lincoln scored in the top half, Cleburne responded instantly. In the third inning, the Railroaders added in two more runs to extend their lead and solidify the victory. The win ensured that the Saltdogs would not complete the sweep of Cleburne.

Streaks: The Saltdogs have scored in the first two innings of the last two games.

Next: Lincoln returns home for six straight home games, starting Sunday.
