Scottsbluff native Nate Lashley fired a 74 in the second round of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach in California to make the cut in his first-ever appearance.
Lashley had five bogeys from No. 1 to No. 10, but finished the final eight holes with seven pars and a birdie. He shot a 4-under-par 67 in the first round on Thursday.
The three-over-par performance puts Lashley one-under-par overall and in a tie for 27th place along with Phil Mickelson and Jordan Spieth. The cut is at two-over-par.
