Nate Lashley hits from the fairway on the ninth hole during the first round of the U.S. Open Thursday in Pebble Beach, Calif.

Scottsbluff native Nate Lashley fired a 70 on Saturday in the third round of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach in California.

Lashley's one-under-par performance pushes him to two-under-par overall for the tournament. He had three birdies and two bogeys on the scorecard, as well as 10-of-14 fairways hit and 13-of-18 greens in regulation. 

Lashley currently sits in a tie for 17th place with the likes of Dustin Johnson and Francesco Molinari. His final round will start at 3:02 CST on Sunday, paired with Abraham Ancer.
