Concordia University announced current assistant coach Levi Calhoun its new head coach on Wednesday.
Calhoun has been an assistant at the NAIA level for seven years, including three with the Bulldogs. Concordia won GPAC championships in 2016 and 2017 and over Calhoun's three seasons with the Bulldogs, he has coached six All-Americans, including 2016 national champion Andrew Schulte and 2017 national runner-up Ceron Francisco.
As a wrestler at Baker (Kansas), Calhoun was the school's first All-American. Calhoun replaces Andrew Nicola, who had been head coach since the fall of 2016.
