No. 1 Nebraska Wesleyan lived up to its rating Wednesday night in Storm Lake, Iowa, as the Prairie Wolves bolted out to a 30-point lead at the half and beat Buena Vista 83-59.
The win pushes Nebraska Wesleyan's win streak to 25, as the Prairie Wolves improved to 12-0 on the season and 3-0 in the American Rivers Conference.
NWU was 18-for-31 from the field in the first half while hitting six three-pointers. Ryan Garver led the Prairie Wolf attack with 23 points and eight rebounds in the game.
Wesleyan shot 56.1 percent as a team, going 23-for-57 from the floor, including 12-for-31 on three-pointers.
Buena Vista had 27 turnovers in the loss and fell to 1-3 in the ARC. The Beavers were led by Timothy Jeffries with 10 points.
