Lincoln High standout athlete Isaiah Alford signed his National Letter of Intent to wrestle under head coach Mark Manning at Nebraska next season.
Alford won the Class A 170-pound state title last season for the Links. He also won the same title as a freshman.
A tailback for the Links football team, Alford this fall rushed for 1,442 yards and 23 touchdowns in 10 games.
Although Alford signed his letter of intent to come to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on Wednesday, Manning declined to comment because he didn't know whether Alford had applied to the university yet.
Alford is part of a recruiting class of six other wrestlers joining the Nebraska program.
