Scouting: Northwestern has already beaten Nebraska this season, 58-54, about one month ago. In that game, two players really hurt Nebraska. Forward Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah scored 10 points, had 19 rebounds — including 10 offensive — four blocked shots and three assists. And guard Lindsey Pulliam scored 21 points, most of them coming on jump shots.

Trending: Nebraska (85) and Northwestern (93) headed into the week ranked among the nation’s top 100 teams in the RPI according to RealTimeRPI.com. Both teams own six top-100 victories on the season. Nebraska’s top-100 RPI wins are Radford, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State and Purdue twice. Nebraska and Northwestern aren't projected to make the NCAA Tournament.

Forecasting: This would be a good win, coming against a team that beat Nebraska earlier in the season. Nebraska’s home loss against Northwestern was a disappointing one, when Nebraska rallied from a 10-point deficit but then had a bad finish. The 54 points Nebraska scored was a season-low. The Wildcats have the best defense in the league, holding opponents to an average of 60.1 points per game. Northwestern has just one win in its last four games.
