Nebraska volleyball player Kenzie Knuckles has been named the Big Ten Conference freshman of the week following the season's first week of matches.

The libero from Indiana helped the second-ranked Huskers to a 2-0 record. To start the season she had 22 digs and six set assists in a four-set win against Creighton. She then had 19 digs and four assists against UCLA. She averaged 5.86 digs per set.
