The Nebraska beach volleyball team dropped three matches Saturday at the Heineken Hawaii Invitational in Honolulu.

The Huskers were edged by Boise State 3-2 before losing 5-0 to California and to Hawaii.

Mari Kurkova and Madi Kubik picked up a win over the Broncos' Kylee Johnson and Ellie McDonald 21-16, 8-21, 15-12 at No. 3, while NU's Callie Schwarzenback and Megan Miller defeated Kenna Hanses and Maya Watkins 4-21, 21-14, 15-12.

No. 9 California swept the Huskers in the second matchup. NU's No. 1 pair Lauren Stivrins and Nicklin Hames lost a three-set match to Cal's Mima Mirkovic and Jordan Polo 21-13, 18-21, 15-12. No. 5 Hawaii swept the Huskers in the final match of the day. Jazz Sweet and Kenzie Knuckles played the closest match, falling to Ari Homayun and Julia Scoles 21-17, 21-18.

With the losses, Nebraska dropped to 10-4.
