The Nebraska softball team will try to snap out of a cold streak when it competes in the Rock Chalk Challenge this weekend in Lawrence, Kansas.
Nebraska will play Tulsa (11 a.m.) and host Kansas (1:30 p.m.) on Saturday. NU will play the same two teams at the same times Sunday.
The Huskers (10-9) are coming off the wrong end of a three-game sweep at Wichita State. They have lost seven of their past nine games.
Tulsa (14-8), meanwhile, has won four of its past five games, including Wednesday’s 2-1 victory against No. 14 Arkansas. Kansas is 5-17 and is coming off a 1-3 showing in the Jayhawk Invitational.
This weekend’s tournament will be a final tuneup for the Huskers, who begin conference play at defending Big Ten champion Michigan next week.
