Tristen Edwards continues to reel in the honors after a big weekend in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

The Nebraska junior shortstop on Tuesday was named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA national player of the week and the Madness National softball field player of the week.

On Monday, Edwards was named Big Ten player of the week.

Edwards went 7-for-12 in four games, finishing with five home runs and 14 RBIs. She tied a single-game school record with eight RBIs in Sunday's 16-2 win against Pittsburgh.

The Murrieta, California, native had two multi-homer games as the Huskers finished 4-0 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Edwards hit .125 over the first weekend of the season, but boosted her batting average to .321 in the challenge. Her 18 RBIs lead the Big Ten Conference.
