Scouting: Seton Hall junior guard Myles Powell was a preseason All-Big East second-team pick after winning the league's most improved player award as a sophomore. With the graduation of four senior starters, Powell's role figures to increase once again. That showed in Seton Hall's only official game, when he scored 30 points and hit five three-pointers against Wagner.

Trending: Nebraska's 36 points per game allowed leads the nation through the first week of the season. The last time the Huskers allowed fewer than 40 points in back-to-back games came in 1949.

Forecasting: Seton Hall lost four senior starters from a team that made the program's third consecutive NCAA Tournament last season, which led to the No. 8 spot (out of 10 teams) in the Big East preseason coaches poll. But the Pirates are legit. Powell is one of the best players in the league, and Seton Hall is one of three Big East teams to be undefeated in the Gavitt Games.
