WR recruit Joseph Lewis will visit Lincoln again

Friday Night Lights, 6.24.16

Joseph Lewis of Los Angeles throws a pass during the Friday Night Lights camp at Memorial Stadium last June. The Los Angeles prospect is still considering Nebraska.

Fair to say a recruit who visits Lincoln from Los Angeles twice during the summer months has a really, really high interest level in Nebraska, no?

You'd sure think.

Joseph Lewis, who was one of the ballyhooed recruits in town for the last Friday Night Lights, will be in town for a couple days starting next Monday, according to HuskerOnline.com and HuskersIllustrated.com.

He also has unofficial visits to Alabama and Tennessee this week.

Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon and Arizona have been considered top possibilities for Lewis, who also will likely take an official visit to Lincoln for either the Fresno State or Oregon game.

Measuring in at 6-2, 204 pounds, Lewis is fresh off camping at The Opening.

Brandon Huffman of Scout.com evaluated Lewis' game like so: "Lewis is still a bit raw but has upside off the charts. He won't be 18 until a month until his freshman year in college but already looks like he can play at the next level. He's not ridiculously fast, and he won't blow by you with his speed, but he's plenty fast and his combination of size and speed make college coaches drool over him as a prospect."

A lot to like here. Nebraska folks like even more that it appears they'll get him on campus once again.
