The Lincoln to Corvallis, Oregon, trail is good and worn at this point.

Former Nebraska wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey is transferring to the Pac-12 school, becoming the third Husker in the past two months to leave Lincoln for Oregon State.

Lindsey was listed in Oregon State's student directory Saturday evening.

Lindsey left NU on Tuesday because he wasn't happy with his playing time, Husker coaches said this week. The sophomore can use this fall as a redshirt season. Because Oregon State's academic year runs in quarters, it's possible Lindsey could play next fall.

According to Oregon State's website, students can enroll in a fall class by Saturday.

In Corvallis, he'll rejoin former Husker head coach Mike Riley, a consultant on Jonathan Smith's staff until the end of the season, along with linebackers coach Trent Bray, director of player development James Rodgers and others.

He'll also join linebacker Avery Roberts and quarterback Tristan Gebbia, who moved from the Huskers to the Beavers in the past two months.
