Most are probably aware by now -- or could have concluded without any assistance from men in suits -- that Nebraska is considered a significant underdog against Georgia in the Capital One Bowl.
The Huskers are listed as a 10-point underdog by many of the Vegas books.
But here's the interesting thing: Every team in the Big Ten that is playing in a bowl game is sitting at the same underdog table as Nebraska heading into this bowl season.
Not one Big Ten team is favored in its bowl game, according to the odds at VegasInsider.com. And three of the seven teams in the league are underdogs by double digits on some lines.
Minnesota is +13 against Texas Tech.
Michigan State is +2.5 against TCU.
Purdue is +17 against Oklahoma State.
Northwestern is +2 against Mississippi State.
Michigan is +5 against South Carolina.
Wisconsin is +6.5 against Stanford.
It's been a tough PR year for the old Big Ten. And if the oddsmakers are on target, there could be a good deal of piling on after New Year's.
