Five Nebraska women's gymnasts received all-Big Ten honors, the conference announced Monday.

Seniors Abbie Epperson and Grace Williams, and juniors Sienna Crouse and Megan Schweihofer were named to the first team, while sophomore Taylor Houchin received second-team honors.

The all-conference teams are determined by regional qualifying scores.

Epperson posted career highs in three events this season, including a career-best 39.450 in the all-around. Williams, a two-time first-teamer, has posted scores of 9.85 or better on vault, balance beam and floor exercise.

Crouse, who was a Big Ten first-teamer a year ago, had a breakout season, setting career highs in every event, while Schweihofer, an all-around performer for the Huskers, posted season-highs of 9.85 or better in every event, including career highs in three events.

Houchin, who spent the first part of the season recovering from an injury, scored 9.90 or better five times on uneven bars this season.

The No. 14 Huskers will compete in the Big Ten meet at 2 p.m. Saturday at Illinois. NU will compete in the afternoon session with Rutgers, Penn State and Michigan State. No. 7 Michigan, No. 23 Minnesota, No. 24 Ohio State and Illinois will compete in the evening session.
