Try 3 months for $3

On a day when most of the attention paid to Nebraska football recruiting centered on the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, the Huskers also continued building much closer to home.

Omaha Westside athlete Tyson Guzman announced Saturday night that he is walking on at NU, the latest in what's grown into another large walk-on class for head coach Scott Frost and company.

Guzman, listed at 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, played primarily cornerback and wide receiver for Westside, which finished 9-2 this fall. Guzman was listed as an honorable mention all-state selection in Class A by the Journal Star.

Guzman chose walking on at NU over Division II scholarship offers. He also played baseball at Westside.

Guzman is the 16th known member of the walk-on class, which is expected to eventually total between 20 and 25.
