One name missing from Nebraska's online roster was expected.
Two more are new additions to the Huskers' offseason attrition, though, and it means the tight ends room will be thinner this fall.
Junior tight end Matt Snyder and sophomore tight end David Engelhaupt are not listed on the Huskers.com roster.
And neither is offensive lineman Bryan Brokop, who earlier this spring changed his social media to refer to himself as a former Nebraska football player.
An NU spokesperson confirmed the roster changes.
The attrition at tight end leaves a trio of scholarship returners in Jack Stoll, Austin Allen and Kurt Rafdal, along with incoming freshmen Cameron Jurgens and Katerian Legrone. Legrone, at 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, is listed as an athlete on the NU website.
The latest moves leave NU at 83 scholarship players per the Journal Star's count, two below the NCAA limit.
The Huskers also added a trio of walk-ons to the roster in brothers Connor and Corbin Ruth of Malcolm and punter Alec Cromer of Beatrice.
Corbin Ruth is a transfer from Northwest Missouri State who will be a redshirt freshman. Connor Ruth is a true freshman. Both were four-year letterwinners for Seward High.
The Ruth brothers are nephews of former NU fullbacks Joel and Jeff Makovicka.
Cromer transferred after two seasons at South Dakota State, where he was a quarterback.
Freshman long snapper Cade Mueller (Gretna) and redshirt freshman wide receiver Dylan Reynolds (Broken Bow) also are no longer listed on the roster.
