Originally, the Huskers were slated to have a bye week before facing the Buckeyes. A Sept. 1 cancellation of NU's season-opener against Akron, though, led to the makeup game against BCU.

Nebraska has only two kickoff times left to fill in this fall: November home dates against Illinois (Nov. 10) and Michigan State (Nov. 17). The Huskers then close the season at 11 a.m. Nov. 23 at Iowa on Fox.
