The cold might be behind us, but Mother Nature is still making its impact on the Husker baseball team. 

The weekend’s baseball series to open the Big Ten season between the Huskers (8-7) and Michigan State (3-15) at Hawks Field will be adjusted due to the weekend forecast. The series will begin with a doubleheader on Friday, starting at 3:05 p.m.

The intent is to play the third game of the series on Saturday at 2:05 p.m.

Darin Erstad's team is coming off a two-game sweep of Air Force at Hawks Field. The Huskers defeated Air Force 7-6 in the home opener on Tuesday, then defeated the Falcons 12-3 behind a dominant performance from freshman pitcher Kyle Perry.
