Teanna Tenopir found herself playing a big part in the Waverly girls soccer team's 2-1 shootout win against defending state champion Elkhorn last Thursday.

The senior goalkeeper made 16 saves and added some key stops in the shootout in helping the Vikings prevail.

Best way to pass the time on soccer road trips: "Putting my headphones in, and taking a nap."
