2. Lincoln Southwest 18-74
3. Papillion-La Vista South18-88
4. Creighton Prep 19-42
5. Grand Island 19-46

9. Lincoln Northeast 15-87
10. Lincoln Pius X 14-9        –

Contenders: Bellevue East, Lincoln East, Millard North, Papillion-La Vista.

Comments: Lincoln Southwest and Lincoln Southeast were the only rated teams to come through last week unscathed and they each played just two games. Southwest beat Creighton Prep and Grand Island and moves up to No. 2 after Bellevue West lost to Lincoln Pius X and to Gretna, and Prep also lost to Papillion-La Vista South, which vaults from eighth to third with that win and an 8-6 loss to Millard West in the final of the Don Kraft Invitational. Millard West goes to the top despite a big loss earlier in the week to Millard South, which tumbles with losses to Southeast and Millard North. Lincoln East drops out after losing four games by a combined six runs, making room for Pius X, which has won six straight.

Comments: Norris holds its spot despite a 13-5 loss to Omaha Westside. Omaha Skutt, Elkhorn and Nebraska City made it through the week with no losses. The next six teams each lost and the shuffle is because of the foes. Ralston moves up after losing 7-4 to Skutt, and Omaha Gross follows with a 4-3 loss to Elkhorn. Omaha Concordia knocked Omaha Roncalli out with a 4-1 win.
