Northwest Missouri State has snatched up another Class B all-state quarterback from the area.
Waverly senior Rhett Jordon announced Thursday on Twitter that he was committing to the Division II football program, just over a month after Seward senior Joseph Krause made the same pledge.
The 5-foot-10, 160-pound Jordon passed for 1,342 yards and 17 touchdowns and rushed for 1,506 yards and scored 18 times in leading the Vikings to a 9-3 record and the semifinals of the playoffs this past fall. He also had three interceptions as a defensive back.
Krause passed for a Class B record 3,335 yards and 38 TDs this past season.
