Omaha Skutt first-team Super-State running back Jarod Epperson has made a verbal commitment to play his college football at Augustana beginning this coming fall.

The 6-foot, 185-pound senior led Skutt to a 13-0 record and the Class B state championship last season by rushing for 2,319 yards and scoring 40 touchdowns. In the SkyHawks’ 48-27 win in the state title game over Scottsbluff, Epperson had 260 yards and four TDs on the ground and caught a pair of passes for 77 yards and two more scores.
