Class B No. 5 Seward jumped out to a 21-0 lead behind a receiving and rushing touchdown from Davon Brees on its way to a 56-21 win over No. 9 Bennington on Friday.
Brees added two more rushing touchdowns in the second half while quarterback Joseph Krause finished with three touchdown passes and another touchdown on the ground.
Raymond Central 30, Nebraska City 28: Conner Kreikemeier threw a touchdown pass to Mikey McCoy on the final play of the game to lift the Mustangs to the win. Raymond Central rallied after Nebraska City had taken a 28-24 lead with 2 minutes, 41 seconds remaining in the game.
Ashland-Greenwood 55, Boys Town 14: Bryce Kitrell rushed for 227 yards and four touchdowns, Hunter Washburn threw for 216 yards on 17-of-20 passing and the Bluejays (4-0) rolled behind a 35-point second quarter. Washburn threw three touchdowns in the first half, including a 25-yarder to Trey Comstock. Kitrell scored on runs of 25, 12, 1 and 17 yards.
Clarkson-Leigh 58, Parkview Christian 38: Tre Dixon threw for four touchdowns for the Patriots but it wasn't enough as Clarkson-Leigh rolled early on to a 50-8 lead. Tommy McEvoy ran for six touchdowns for Clarkson-Leigh and also recorded a safety in the win. Logan Page caught three touchdowns in the loss for Parkview Christian and finished with 115 yards receiving.
Lincoln Lutheran 26, Milford 13: Colby Bliss opened the game with a 43-yard touchdown run and caught a 39-yard touchdown. Joshua Duitsman threw for a pair of touchdowns. Trevor LeGrande helped seal the game with an interception with 2 minutes to play.
Blair 14, Norris 0: The Bears held the Titans to just 150 yards and recorded two interceptions in a shutout performance. The game was tight throughout but 2-yard touchdown runs from Dex Larsen and Grant Rosenbaum were the difference for Blair.
Waverly 48, Lexington 7: The ground game carried the Vikings with 350 yards rushing. The improved to 3-1 after winning three straight.
