Lincoln Southwest used a 35-point second quarter to put away North Platte 42-7 on Friday in North Platte.

Silver Hawks quarterback Brady Bickford scored on an 11-yard run, which opened the flood gates in the second quarter. The Hawks faced a 4th-and-30 on their next possession, and North Platte got pressure on punter Dylan Jorgensen, who pulled the ball down and took off for a 78-yard touchdown.

Frazzie Wynn scored on runs of 20 and 7 yards, and a fumble recovery set up Nick Leader's 5-yard touchdown run just before halftime.

Southwest improved to 4-1 with the win.

Omaha North 6, Lincoln Southeast 0: Jarred Venner kicked a pair of field goals for North to provide the only scoring of the night, and the Viking defense forced a turnover on downs with two minutes left to clinch the win.

Grand Island 57, Lincoln North Star 15: Kodjo Atikpohou had a 93-yard kickoff return and a 23-yard interception return as Grand Island forced five turnovers. The Islanders limited North Star to 50 total and minus-six rushing yards in the first half.

Falls City 42, Lincoln Christian 35, OT: Aex Rathje scored a 10-yard touchdown on the first play of overtime for Falls City, then Collin Cook forced a fumble on third down to halt Lincoln Christian. 

Lincoln Lutheran 52, Nebraska City 14Joshua Duitsman led the charge for the Warriors, passing for 118 yards and three touchdowns. Colby Bliss carried the ball seven times for 101 yards and two touchdowns, while Tommy Nabity had 70 yards on 11 carries for one score.

Johnson-Brock 80, Parkview Christian 0: Johnson-Brock was off and running totaling 62 points in the first half. Cole Fossenbarger was 10-of-13 passing for 195 yards and four touchdowns to lead Johnson-Brock as the Eagles posted 62 points in the first half. Ty Hahn was his top receiver with four catches for 86 yards and two scores.

Auburn 19, Ashland-Greenwood 7: The Class C-1 No. 6 Bulldogs (5-0) built a 13-0 lead after one quarter thanks to two touchdowns by Bailey Darnell. He ran one in from four yards out, then caught a 77-yard touchdown pass from Drew Dixon. Bryce Kitrell returned a kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter for No. 10 Ashland-Greenwood's only points of the night. Darnell finished with 180 yards on 21 carries. The defense held the Bluejays to just 72 total yards and 55 on 36 rushes.

York 51, Beatrice 14: No. 4 York jumped to a 44-7 halftime lead, behind three Garrett Snodgrass touchdowns. The Duke quarterback found Brady Danielson for a pair of 65-yard touchdowns and added 3-yard run. Snodgrass accounted for 314 offensive yards, finishing with 206 through the air on 8-of-11 passing.

Bishop Neumann 29, Columbus Lakeview 22: David Lilly's 10-yard touchdown run with 5:49 remaining lifted the Class C-1 No. 3 Cavaliers to the win. Eli Vedral rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown, and threw for 91 yards and another score for Neumann. Lakeview trailed 21-12 in the third quarter before rallying behind a Jacob Frenzen touchdown run and a 33-yard field goal from Cadge Janssen.

Wahoo 36, West Point-Beemer 0: Trev Luben led the Warriors with 224 yards on 26 attempts and four touchdown. Tom Waido finished 7-for-10 passing with 98 yards. Wahoo finished with 360 total yards to West Point's 134. West Point was held to 29 yards in the second half.

Centennial 28, Aquinas 21: Trailing by one point with under two minutes to play, Centennial kicked off and recovered a fumble deep in Aquinas territory. Wyatt Ehlers hit Jackson Hirschfeld for a 10-yard touchdown pass with one minute left to take the lead for good. Ehlers was 26-38 for 308 yards and four touchdowns, and broke the Class C-2 record for career touchdown passes. Hirschfeld also broke the Centennial school record for career receptions in the game.

Wilber-Clatonia 37, Freeman 0: Mike Pulliam threw a pair of touchdowns, and Coltin Rezabek returned an interception for a touchdown as the Wolverine defense put the clamps on Freeman.
