Ralston senior Antonio Lowe rushed for 163 yards on 22 carries, Zach Schafer scored two touchdowns and the Rams used a strong second half to top host Beatrice 28-21 on Friday night.

Lowe scored on a 1-yard run to give the Rams a 28-21 lead early in the fourth quarter. Ralston forced a Beatrice punt and drove down the field, converting two third downs to keep the clock running.

The Orangemen, ranked fourth in Class B, forced Ralston to attempt a 42-yard field goal, which the Rams missed. But Beatrice quarterback Tanden Dorn threw an interception deep in Orangemen territory and Ralston was able to run out the clock.

Beatrice's Daniel Davie scored on a 10-yard run to give Beatrice a early 7-0 lead. Ralston answered with a long drive capped by an 8-yard touchdown run by Schafer.

Ralston recovered a fumble on a squib kick to start the third quarter and then capitalized to take a 21-14 lead.

The Rams had 321 yards in total offense. Davie, a Nebraska football recruit, had 12 carries for 94 yards for Beatrice. Wright finished with 66 yards on 13 carries.
