The Class B top-ranked Lincoln Pius X boys basketball team extended a four-point halftime lead with two 20-point quarters in the second half to run away from Omaha Northwest 73-51 Tuesday at Northwest. Pius X's Charlie Easley dropped in a game-high 25 points, and Kolbe Rada added 11. Jaylen Richey scored 18 points to lead Northwest.
Omaha Bryan 69, Lincoln Southeast 66: Michael Anderson's 26 points were not enough for the Knights. Javen Udofia scored 26 points for Omaha Bryan.
Lincoln Pius X 52, Omaha Northwest 39: Lincoln Pius X sophomore Alexis Markowski scored 24 points in the Thunderbolts' double-digit win in Omaha. Pius X led 46-27 after three quarters before Northwest cut the lead down in the fourth quarter.
Lincoln Southeast 58, Omaha Bryan 24: A 29-point second quarter sparked the Knights. Kennedy Kirkendall had 13 points, and Mackenzie Toomey added 12. Cassie Nash had 10 points and eight steals.
