Justin Bubak had 14 of his game-high 16 points in the first half to lead Lincoln Christian to a 62-39 win over Columbus Scotus at the Centennial Conference Tournament.
Bubak scored 10 points in the second quarter as the Crusaders took a 39-26 lead at halftime.
Ashton Carlson added 13 points and Caleb Canfield poured in 12. Both Carlson and Canfield each hit two three-pointers.
Parkview Christian 80, Whiting, Iowa 23: Davion Helmstadter had 18 points and recorded five of the Patriots' 19 steals as Parkview took care of Whiting early in the Frontier Conference first round. The Patriots went on a 31-9 opening quarter run and led 57-16 at the half. Rashad Woods led the way offensively for the Patriots with 22 points and Alex Morey added 12.
College View 55, Cedar Bluff 40: Derek Bock and Daniel Klein each scored 15 points apiece to lead the Eagles in the Frontier Conference Tournament. College View went on an offensive tear in the second quarter with an 18-7 run. after trailing 17-8 after the first quarter.
Parkview Christian 46, Cornerstone Christian 26: A 13-1 Parkview Christian run in the third quarter helped the Patriots break a 17-17 halftime tie. Abby Anderson led Parkview and all scorers with 17 points. The Patriots will play in the Frontier Conference fifth-place game Tuesday at Brownell-Talbot against the winner of Boys Town or Whiting, Iowa.
Kearney Catholic 63, Lincoln Lutheran 58: The Warriors led 21-19 at the half but could not overcome Olivia Micek and the Stars in the third quarter. Micek led Kearney Catholic with 25 points and Kearney Catholic's press helped the Stars to a 20-11 run. Gretchen Moll had a game-high 27 points for Lincoln Lutheran. Leah Jurgens scored 12 and Laney Poppe added 10.
