The Lincoln East girls tennis team swept all four doubles events as the Spartans easily won the Kearney Doubles Invitational on Wednesday in Kearney.
The Spartans finished with 100 points. Kearney was second with 78, North Star third with 76 and Lincoln High fourth with 76 in the 10-team meet.
East's No. 1 doubles team of Kathy Le and Hailey Haar defeated Grace Johnson and Macy McDonald of Grand Island 8-2. The Spartans' other winners were Kristina Ely and Elly Johnsen at No. 2, Biana Rademacher and Brooke Sailer at No. 3, and Alex Tessendorf and Olivia Glenn at No. 4.
Lincoln East 2, Lincoln High 0: Alex Kohler and Porter Wilkins scored, and Karson Jeffrey held Lincoln High scoreless as the Spartans raced past the Links.
Lincoln Pius X 1, Grand Island 0: Cassida Kobza scored the lone goal for the Thunderbolts.
Lincoln Southwest 5, Lincoln Northeast 0: The Silver Hawks scored four goals in the first half. Five girls scored for Southwest, while Raegan Wells got the shutout.
Milford Invitational: Milford's Mason Roth shot an 83 to win his home invitational at Thornridge Golf Course. The Eagles won the team title over Lincoln Lutheran 344-358.
