A newly unsealed affidavit shows that the third time the girl told officials about sexual abuse, the Nebraska State Patrol investigated, the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office prosecuted, and Sean Vilmont was arrested.
According to court documents, allegations were investigated in 2015 and 2017 by Fremont Police. The department interviewed Sean Vilmont, who denied the allegations, and made applications for warrants, but was denied both times.
