The original Hummer and its offshoots, the H2 and H3, weren’t exactly eco-minded machines. That makes the new all-electric GMC Hummer EV a bit of a surprise. GMC promises that the Hummer EV will be plenty capable off-road without burning a single ounce of gasoline getting there and back thanks to its touted 350 miles of electric range.

Swedish director Hans Petter Moland remade his own film "In Order of Disappearance," as a Liam Neeson aggrieved dad thriller, transposing the location to a Colorado mountain town (though they shot in British Columbia, tax breaks!). In this black comedy, a snowplow driver (Neeson) unearths the seedy underbelly of a dastardly small town drug gang while seeking revenge for the death of his son. Rent it for $3.99 on iTunes, Amazon or YouTube.

As long as self-driving features require the driver to be ready to take control, the driver will remain liable for any crashes. Car manufacturers are liable only if there’s a fault in their vehicle. But what happens if an autonomous passenger car causes a crash? Is the manufacturer liable because it designed the system that’s at fault?
