Husker 2015 linebacker signee Mohamed Barry announced on Twitter on Monday night he plans to be in Lincoln by fall camp, but won't show up next week like most of the incoming true freshmen.
He tweeted that there is no question about him becoming eligible. "(It's) just some business I have to take care of beforehand." He expects to arrive the first week of July.
Barry has one more class, which he expects to have completed by then, that he must pass to clear all of his academic hurdles.
The linebacker from Loganville, Georgia, expressed that there is "no doubt" he will be playing for the Huskers this fall and beyond.
Barry is viewed as a key prospect in the most recent Husker class, with the linebacker having chosen NU late in the process over Miami and Kansas State. With depth concerns at the position, coaches have said there is a good chance they will need to play at least one or two true freshmen linebackers this season.
