One and done for the past three Big Ten softball tournaments is totally embarrassing and unacceptable.
Save for a few players, the Huskers aren’t performing up to expectations, and that’s on the coaches and who they are recruiting. We all know that California, Texas and Florida are the hot beds for athletes since they have travel teams that play year-round.
So Rhonda Revelle and her coaches need to get back in those states -- like she did to get the Edwards sisters in California -- and add to the six players from there to get this program back to respectability.
Just because softball is not considered one of the major sports doesn’t mean Husker fans should have to settle for average.
