APTOPIX Trump Russia Probe

Attorney General William Barr speaks about the release of a redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller's report during a news conference Thursday at the Department of Justice in Washington.

Attorney General William Barr is (was?) supposed to be America’s top legal official.

Barr was asked in Congress if he had heard of the objections reported in the media from members of Mueller’s team on Barr’s summary of the Russian Investigation. Barr said he did not, failing to mention the letter he had already received from Mueller saying the special counsel had problems, objections and issues with Barr’s summary.

Then, the letter was made public. When later asked in Senate testimony, Barr now said the letter he had received before he said he had no idea appeared to be written by snitty people.

Folks, you cannot not have any idea, then claim the letter you received before that statement was anything at all in your mind. There was a time most average Americans would not deny the straight-out lie Barr told to all Americans.

The swamp in Washington certainly was not drained by Barr. Barr is attempting to make the Department of Justice function to protect the current power holder(s) from the American people. That is not how the Constitution will survive.
