Trevor Jeffrey of Lincoln, son of the late Kelly Jeffrey and grandson of Randy and Sue Jeffrey, will be honored during a 7 p.m. ceremony Monday, Oct. 29, at Vine Congregational Church, 1800 Twin Ridge Road, for achieving the Eagle Scout rank.
Trevor is a member of Troop 8, which meets at the church and is led by Scoutmaster Larry Holmes.
Creating a 650-foot bridal trail along with six sensory stations for Windsong Equinotherapy was Trevor's service project. He was instrumental in clearing the way for the path, mulching it and planning locations for the sensory stations. He directed the project with parents, fellow scouts and friends, assisting in its completion.
Trevor has earned 26 merit badges and is a member of the Order of the Arrow. He has received a Lincoln East Marching Band leadership honor and has been a Salvation Army bell ringer, packed food for Kids Against Hunger and been a volunteer for Nebraska Special Olympics. In addition, Trevor is a member of the Lincoln East Spartan varsity football team, a Senior Kitaki Kid for Camp Kitaki and is employed by Valentino's.
Trevor invites teachers, coaches, friends and family members to his Eagle Scout ceremony.
