A Warmer Day, an all-volunteer organization based in Clatonia, Neb., has embarked on a mission to provide coats and other winter apparel for underprivileged children and families.

Dave Conde, founder and president of the new nonprofit, said the local Nebraska charity is focused on helping Nebraskans in need.

“Thousands of Nebraskans are in need and do not have the means to provide winter clothing for themselves or their families,” said Conde. “It’s our mission to assist these individuals and families by providing warm clothing. Please help us make sure no mother has to send her children out in the cold without a coat, no veteran goes cold and no senior citizen has to face the brutal Nebraska winter unprepared.”
