The Caregiver Education Group and St. Paul United Methodist Church sponsor meetings for caregivers held the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Paul, 1144 M St., except for December.

The meetings are held in Room 155 on the main level. The presentation begins at 1:30 p.m. There is always time allowed for discussion and sharing after the presentation.

Natalie Leon from Visiting Angels, who is a member of the Lincoln Caregiver Education Group, will be bringing yummy treats to the meeting each month. Thanks so much, Natalie.

The presentation for Sept. 25, Taking Care of You, will be given by three members of the Lincoln Caregiver Education Group.

* Carrie Budd is with Kindred at Home and provides physical therapy in the home as you recover and/or is ordered by your doctor to promote healing and strength.

* Natalie Leon is director of Visiting Angels and helps to find people who have been background checked to come into the home to allow the family caregiver the necessary relief.

* Becca Henry is with HoriSun Hospice and will be able to explain their services as your loved ones reach the stage of life where they need to be cared for while maintaining comfort and dignity.

These women have many years of working with family caregivers and will provide invaluable information not only for family caregivers but also for family members, pastors, church members, friends and neighbors as well as professional care providers. As always there will be time for questions and sharing following the presentation.
