Great weather contributed to another wonderful Fun Day experience Sept. 26 at one of the Lincoln Senior Men's Golf League's favorite stops -- Iron Horse Golf Club in Ashland. The full field of 126 golfers were divided into three flights with 11 four-man groups in flights A and B, and 10 in C. The Scramble event was a U-Pik rather than computer selected like the July Mixer event, but the final low scores showed little difference in the formats.

Two pin prizes were awarded: Marv McMichael won closest to hole No. 5 on the first shot, and Jerry Edmonds won the longest putt on No. 9. The Fun Day scheduled for Oct. 1 at Hillcrest Country Club was postponed.
