• The Lincoln Journal Star and Woodhouse Alfa Romeo luxury cars present the Holiday Cooking Showcase – a four-course cooking show and vendor expo that will provide everything you need to throw the perfect holiday party, 4-9 p.m. at Embassy Suites, 10th and P streets. Doors open at 4 p.m.; the cooking show is from 6-9 p.m. Cash bar available. Tickets available at the door. General admission ($5) provides entry to the vendor area and standing room-only access to the cooking show); and VIP ($25) includes samples of the dishes created onstage and wine pairings, access to the HomeServices VIP lounge, preferred seating and a VIP gift bag).
