21-year-old dies after striking bridge rail in Cedar County

A 21-year-old South Dakota man died after his vehicle struck a rail on bridge in Cedar County on Wednesday, according to a news release from the Cedar County Sheriff's Office.

Joshua Hauger of Yankton was pronounced dead at the scene following the one-vehicle accident on U.S. 81 on the Discovery Bridge, which crosses the Missouri River. The accident remains under investigation by the Cedar County Sheriff's Office.
