PAPILLION — An Omaha woman who was drunk when she caused a crash that killed a 15-year-old Waverly High School student last year has been sentenced to 40 to 50 years in prison.

Paige Seaton, 22, was sentenced Thursday in Sarpy County court.

Prosecutors say Seaton had a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 percent — more than twice the legal limit — at the time of the Oct. 4 crash on Nebraska 50. Seaton was already on probation for another DUI at the time of the crash.

The collision killed Alexandra Linscott of Eagle, who was passenger in her mother's car. Her mother, 48-year-old Elisa Linscott, was critically injured.
