Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger told the Norfolk Daily News that an extensive search Sunday night and Monday morning showed no signs of Eddie Myrick, 55, of Stanton or his motorcycle.

Myrick was last seen riding Sunday afternoon. It wasn't clear whether the open water was a result of the motorcycle or something else breaking through the ice. The lake is about 2 miles north of Stanton.
