In 2010, Nebraska changed its longtime policy of providing prenatal care for all pregnant women, and nearly 1,600 Nebraskans lost access to prenatal care coverage under Medicaid.

Interchurch Ministries of Nebraska's annual Ecumenical Legislative Briefing Day will highlight the issue and host a public vigil urging restoration of prenatal care at 1 p.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church, 45th and A streets.
