Blueprint Nebraska, the new citizen-led, statewide economic development initiative, will hold a town hall discussion in Lincoln on Wednesday.
The event will be at Southeast Community College, 8800 O St., from 8-10 a.m.
Public town halls will also be in Omaha and Norfolk later the same day.
Former state Sen. Jim Smith of Papillion is executive director of the organization that includes Nebraska leaders in business, agriculture, government and higher education.
The effort is designed to establish a comprehensive, proactive plan to stimulate the state's economic growth, competitiveness and prosperity while building on Nebraska's strengths.
Blueprint Nebraska had public meetings in Chadron, Valentine, Scottsbluff-Gering and North Platte last month.
