Prosecutors say law enforcement found the videos and images while looking into an allegation that Hunter Towle had been taking photos of people showering at UNL, a claim they weren't able to substantiate.

Deputies on Wednesday also seized 17 catalytic converters and a Sawzall found in the trunk of a vehicle stopped on Interstate 80 near Lincoln. Sheriff Terry Wagner said they were trying to determine if they were obtained legally. 

Sheriff Terry Wagner said Christian Alexander was shot first after pointing a gun at a State Patrol trooper, then at two troopers and a Lincoln officer, identified by acting Police Chief Brian Jackson as Jesse Hilger, after the SUV came to a rest.

District Judge Michael Smith granted the city's motion to dismiss Madsen's case as it stands and denied a motion for an injunction that would have blocked the city from enforcing the mask mandates and other directed health measures.

The girl is safe, LPD says.

Officer Erin Spilker said when police found Skyler Dounce. he tested .198, more than twice the legal limit. They arrested him on suspicion of DUI and second-degree assault. 

Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said that after a drug-sniffing dog alerted them to the presence of drugs, deputies searched the truck and found 677 grams of methamphetamine in a hidden compartment, fentanyl and guns.

Officer Erin Spilker said police first were called to the nearby U-Stop about a man yelling at customers, then throwing a drink at the clerk.

Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said, after consulting with the Lancaster County Attorney's Office, the man was issued a citation for animal cruelty.
